Cut-Away Leaf Art by Lorenzo Duran

Artists are becoming more and more creative with their choice of canvas. Lorenzo Duran instead of using paper, he prefer to picks leaves, washes, dries, molds and gently cuts them. His technique is based on historical studies of paper cutting in China, Japan, Germany, and Switzerland. If you think about how delicate a leaf is, you can imagine how challenging and intricately painstaking each piece of art must be to create. He must have a very steady hand! Incredible!
